College Student Fakes Having Cancer to Get Free Pizza

In the small town of Franklin Tennessee, John Summers is the talk of the town. After a small privately owned restaurant announced last week, that in support of the fight against cancer and in appreciation for all of those fighting the disease, it will provide free meals to any person afflicted with this disease. To most this was seen as nothing more as a kind gesture on part of the owners at Grover’s Pizza, but to Mr. Summers, he saw an opportunity for a very unethical prank.

After shaving his head bald, he and two of his friends entered the restaurant and quietly sat down to place their order. When the bill arrived, John quietly approached the waitress and told her about his so called disease. Not only did the waitress offer a free meal to John, but to the entire party as well.

Shortly after the boys had left, another waiter who had recognized the boys from school had been informed what had happened. Police were called immediately and two of the three boys were placed on probation. Court hearings are expected to take police later this week, although it is believed no major charges will be filed against the boys.

Upon questioning, John Summers admits that he never intended to hurt anyone, and it was all just a simple hoax that got out of hand.
